Curved Wall

Curved Wall

Curved walls are as easy to form as straight walls. The only difference in the process is the type of ply wood you will need to use. Most curved walls can be formed with two layers of 1/4″ Masonite or Luwan. Tighter radius curves may require four layers of 1/8″ Masonite. Place the multiple layers into the Starter Tie at the same time just like you would if you were working with a single sheet of thicker plywood. The process is much easier with two people. One on each side of the wall placing the plywood for both sides at the same time. Immediately snap a finish tie (up side down Starter Tie) on to the top of the forms to hold both sides securely. Fasten the plywood in the same fashion as a straight section.
